Eligibility conditions Born between 1984 (included) and 2006 (included) Resident of Bern (CH) Description The Louise Aeschlimann and Margareta Corti Scholarship is a prestigious private scholarship forvisual artists in the Canton of Bern. It has been awarded annually to up-and-coming artists ofthe younger generation since 1942. The selection is made in a two-stage judging process. TheAC Scholarship is combined with a group exhibition at the Kunsthalle Bern, the KunstmuseumLangenthal, the Kunstmuseum Thun or the Kunsthaus Biel Centre d'Art Bienne. The main andsponsorship scholarships are awarded during the vernissage. The AC Scholarship is sponsored by the Louise Aeschlimann and Margareta Corti Foundation. Atotal of CHF 50,000 is available annually for the main and sponsorship scholarships. Thescholarships and the accompanying exhibition are awarded in collaboration with the BernischeKunstgesellschaft (BKG).
